60 MIN · VIDEO

Focused session: one question, one hour.

One 60-minute video call on one specific question: technology, operations, delivery, a customer situation or a commercial decision. You send context beforehand; I send a short follow-up afterwards.

01 — Who it’s for

When you need an outside view on one thing.

01Founders, CEOs and COOs who want a second view on a decision before they commit to it.
02Technology leaders who want to test a plan with someone who has also sat on the commercial side of the table.
03Delivery and account leads with a situation that has stopped making sense.
04Buyers weighing a vendor, a cloud decision or an AI idea who want the awkward questions asked early.
02 — Typical situations

The question is rarely only the question.

The symptom usually shows up in one place. The cause is often two lenses away. An hour is often enough to find which lens.

LOOKS LIKE: A TECHNOLOGY CHOICE

Usually it’s more than that: a workflow, data and accountability question.

FIRST MOVE →

Pick one repetitive workflow, measure it, and name who stays accountable.

LOOKS LIKE: A PRICE COMPARISON

Usually it’s more than that: a question about where the cost moves in year two.

FIRST MOVE →

Normalise both proposals to the same scope, three-year cost and exit terms before anyone compares price.

LOOKS LIKE: A RELATIONSHIP PROBLEM

Usually it’s more than that: a gap between what was expected and what was delivered.

FIRST MOVE →

Go in person, listen first, and come back with one owner and one dated commitment.

Illustrative situations. Not client specifics.

03 — What you get

One hour, properly used.

CONTEXT

A short brief from you beforehand, so the hour starts on the problem rather than the background.

THE HOUR

Sixty minutes working through it together. What is actually happening, what we’re assuming, what it costs, who owns the decision.

FOLLOW-UP

A short written note afterwards: what we concluded, what’s still open, and the next step I’d take.

04 — Format, duration and price

BEFORE WE START
A few lines of context by email

One question per session works best. If the answer depends on me reading a proposal, an architecture or a commercial model properly, a Decision session is the better fit.

Indicative USD pricing. Scope and commercial terms are confirmed in writing before work begins.

05 — How booking works

How booking works.

01

Request. Use the button above or email [email protected]. A few lines on the situation is enough; the subject line is filled in for you.

02

Fit check. I reply to confirm whether I’m the right person and suggest next steps, usually within two working days. If I’m not, I’ll say so.

03

In writing. Scope, timing and commercial terms are confirmed in writing. Payment is made in advance, and the booking is confirmed once it’s received.

04

Start. You send context or material beforehand, and we begin by video — you’ll receive a video call link with your confirmation.

06 — Questions

Questions about the focused session.

What can I bring to a focused session?

One specific question about technology, operations, delivery, a customer situation or a commercial decision. The narrower the question, the more useful the hour.

Do you review documents beforehand?

Only as context. A focused session is a conversation. If you need material reviewed properly first, book a Decision session (from USD 900), which includes the review and a written decision summary.

Is the session recorded?

Sessions are only recorded with your permission. Notes are yours to take, and the written follow-up covers what we agreed.

What if one hour isn’t enough?

Book a second session, or move to a Decision session or diagnostic if the question turns out to be bigger than it looked. That happens more often than people expect.
